Our City Radio  is a division of Venom Marketing Group LLC.

Our company was designed to originally help local bands get exposure and experience through the device of internet radio in Philadelphia, PA. We soon realized the mass potential and decided to expand to the entire United States. What began as a passion from 2 brothers is now poised to be the New Internet Radio!

Through many trials and tribulations we have arrived at our final destination. We have revamped the site many times and have streamlined our focus on a very large group of people. MUSIC LOVERS. Whether your playing it listening to it or using it to make a living we got you covered.

With a powerful blogging format, and a host of online tools including a newsletter system, talent and business profiles, an e-commerce solution and much more, all combined with a radio station format that is geared towards independent and local musicians, artists, and businesses that can go live at the drop of a hat, the Our City Radio system is the most unique internet radio platform in the world, and is poised to change internet radio forever!

All of our promotion has been word of mouth and guerilla style marketing as we have been working on a shoe string budget since the beginning! No official launch, no ad campaigns, literally just all grass roots style marketing has propelled us to where you see today!

The Our City Radio name was officially registered on Go-Daddy on 2-21-2010 but went through many metamorphosis and many names prior to!

In a little over 2 years we have become a recognizable name in the independent radio world by creating a system that has never been done before! As of 7-12-12, Our Alexa rank is now just over 450,000 in the World and our National site is a Pagerank 4 with several cities being between a PR 1 and 3.

1. How many cities are you in?
We are currently in 132 cities and growing! Our National Channel plays from all of them and with so much exposure plans for an International Channel are now in the works!

2.How many channels do you have?
Our National Channel has 13 channels running and each city comes with 10 when they are first introduced. As cities are brought in, our national channels are aired until a local presence with enough content is secured and than that channel is turned over as purely local!

3. Are you just another playlist music site?
Far from it! Unlike all the other sites you see out there that are simply playlist based, Our City Radio and all it’s cities are created around an actual terrestrial radio station format, complete with the availability to do live and pre-recorded shows, live performances and even on the spot interviews!

4. Is the music available for Download? Is the site secure?
No it is not. Just like a terrestrial radio station we play the music on the stations. We offer the artists a slew of promotion  but downloading their music is not one of them. In the agreement with artists, in no way shall their work be available to download or made available to be pirated in any way. There are 100’s of other sites for that. Our sites are completely secure and we work on a constant basis to ensure it stays that way.

5. Do you have good SEO?
We have a great SEO presence. We are number one on the search engines for several terms and on the first  page for 100’s more! The National Channel and the individual cities all rank extremely high! Every Our City Radio site and station is syndicated on 100′s of other sites including our own network of sites all built and maintained by Venom Marketing Group and their partners and friends!

6. Can we have rights to the 20 minute interview?
Our City Radio will send you a copy upload of the interview that business are allowed to post on their own sites, Facebook, Twitter, ect. When we Spotlight a business through out the months, we can always update the 20 minute interview to the new things going on in the business. Special requests regarding changing the original interview will be dealt with on an individual basis.

7. How many unsatisfied customers have you had?
With our money back risk free offers, we do leave the option for any small business to receive their money back if they are not happy with the results. The last update release was, that out of 100’s businesses within the last year that have signed up, only 1 business has requested a return of purchase.

8. How do people know about Our City Radio?
Again, all of our advertising has thus far been word of mouth, guerilla and grass roots style marketing. Though Our City Radio is a national network, we are expanding into select cities with the goal of becoming THE “go-to” resource for areas. This includes over 10,000 unique visitors per day to local city websites where we not only spotlight new artists, but local businesses, news, and events. We’re placing tent cards in over 1.000 hotel rooms guiding visitors to check our sites for local events, the best businesses, and discounts. We’ll write a feature article on your business to be posted on our website as well. With our extensive nationwide network of website, you can be sure that a ton of potential clients will see it.

9. How many artists are on the site right now?
Right now Our City Radio on a national level has ten’s of thousands of bands and artists and 100′s of local businesses on board! The more people we have that become a part of the Our City Radio Network, the bigger and better it will be. The larger we become, the more the businesses will be promoted and the more music will be heard throughout the communities.

10. Do my prices go up when your prices raise?
We know how important your advertising dollars are in this economy and as a thank you for coming on board now, we guarantee that we will never raise your rate. That’s right-NEVER. Obviously, as we grow in each city our advertising and sponsorship rates increase significantly, but as long as you stay with us, we will always honor your introductory rate.
